What Used to Be Engaging in School
Not too long ago, when I was in
school, watching a video or film felt like a special treat. Before everyone had
access to personal devices and endless entertainment options, a movie in class
was exciting!
Today, students have constant access to
entertainment on their phones, and educational videos often feel boring by
comparison. Their attention spans are shorter, and they tend to prefer short,
fast‑paced content; even I find myself drawn to shorter videos now, despite
growing up in a different educational context.
I often wonder what new
technologies or innovations will emerge that could create another paradigm
shift in education. The situation keeps changing, and I’m curious about what
might come next.
